Robot Index
Every humanoid robot I can find that's being seriously developed. Real companies, real hardware, real specs. This list will grow. The fact that it's already this long is something I think about a lot.
18 robots tracked / Updated April 2026

Figure AIConversational interaction while performing complex manipulation tasks. Learned behaviors from YouTube videos.
Digit
Agility RoboticsWarehouse logistics. Moves totes and bins autonomously. Deployed at Amazon fulfillment centers. RoboFab mass production line.
Walker S1
UBTECH RoboticsWorking in NIO EV factory on the assembly line. One of the first humanoids deployed in automotive manufacturing.
Figure 01
Figure AIFirst Figure humanoid. Walked, made coffee, held conversations with OpenAI integration.
Optimus Gen 2
TeslaImproved actuators, 30% faster walk speed. Folded laundry on stage. Targets sub-$20K production cost.
Atlas (Electric)
Boston DynamicsSuccessor to hydraulic Atlas. Full electric actuation. Extreme range of motion, can rotate joints beyond human limits.
Extremely fast locomotion (3.3 m/s walking speed). Performed backflips. Chinese robotics at a fraction of Western pricing.
Smaller, cheaper humanoid starting at $16,000. Demonstrated martial arts moves. Consumer-adjacent pricing.
NEO Beta
1X TechnologiesDesigned for home environments. Lightweight, safe around humans. Backed by OpenAI. Prioritizes safety over strength.
Phoenix
Sanctuary AIControlled by Carbon AI (general-purpose AI). Worked a full shift in a warehouse. Focus on human-like hand dexterity.
GR-1
Fourier IntelligenceGeneral-purpose humanoid. Can walk at 5 km/h. Payload of 110 lbs. Originally a rehabilitation robotics company.
Apollo
ApptronikDesigned for manufacturing and logistics. Swappable battery packs. NASA and Mercedes-Benz partnerships.
Astribot S1
AstribotExceptional upper body dexterity. Performed calligraphy, poured drinks, ironed clothes at human-like speed.
Kepler Forerunner
Kepler RobotChinese humanoid built for industrial tasks. 44 lbs payload per arm. Targets factory assembly and logistics.
Optimus Gen 1
TeslaTesla's entry into humanoid robotics. Walked on stage at AI Day. Leverages Tesla FSD neural net training.
CyberOne
XiaomiCan detect 45 types of human emotions. Xiaomi's first humanoid. Recognizes individuals and tracks 3D space.
Social robot with realistic skin, hair, and expressions. Remembers previous conversations. Worked as a customer service agent.
Menteebot
Mentee RoboticsFounded by Prof. Amnon Shashua (Mobileye creator). Uses natural language instructions. End-to-end neural network control.

I try to keep this list accurate, but specs change fast. If something's wrong, it's probably because a company updated their numbers last week. The speed of progress in humanoid robotics right now is unlike anything I've seen in any other field.
